Sorry that it's been a month since we posted any pictures or updates. It's busy season for Eric, and when he's home, it's hard to post one-handed (with Maddie in the other!). Madeline, "Peanut" as we often call her, is doing great. At her January checkup she was in the 75th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for length. Lisa is a great mother, and really cherishes her time with her daughter.
If you happened to miss it, I posted baptism pictures on my last posting. Check the sidebar for the previous entry!
Here are a couple of pictures to catch up on:
Eric's high school friend Karn knitted this hat (and 8 others!!) last year as baby presents. It goes well with our little strawberry.
January 13 was our 2nd wedding anniversary. We had a nice dinner at Kincaid's while Madeline stayed with Godmother Judy.
"Big Sister" Bailey says she's not getting enough attention, so this one's for her!

Lisa and her mother took Maddie to see her Great Grandma Blommell.

Ain't I a cutie???

Madeline: You are growing so much! It's good to see new photos of you and also know that Daddy Eric is home safe from his travel. You have (yet) another handmade baby blanket gift waiting for you here in Cedar Rapids when next you visit. We miss you. Hugs from Iowa, Grandma R.
Madeline,
Happy Heart Day from one who cannot bypass the moment. You are quite photogenic. The "strawberry hat" is precious.
This set of photos has me wondering if you are warm enough ~~ considering the winter blizzard. Snowflakes have just touched Des Moines this weekend. I watched them come down between 0200 and 0400 while the city was asleep. Were you up watching with me?
Snowflake Blessings,
Maurita
