Happy New Year!!

Happy new year everyone! Madeline is now 14 months old; growing and changing every day. Some of her favorite things to do are read her favorite books - Are You My Mother (thanks Daddy!) and nursery rhyme Treasury for One Year Olds (thanks Godmother!), watch her Baby Van Gogh video (thanks Holly!), and ride her sled - inside or outside (thanks Grandma and Grandpa Bergmann!). She also likes her other toys, so thanks to everyone else, too!

Maddie can say No, Yes, Banana ("nana"), Uh Oh, and one or two other words. She likes to vocalize and sing, and can climb up the stairs very well.

For Thanksgiving, we went down to Iowa so Maddie could also celebrate her birthday with Eric's family.

We had a turkey hunt. Here's grandma with Katelyn, Madelyn, Madison, and B. J. with their catch.

Aunt Janele has taken up a hobby as a cake decorator, and she really outdid herself with her Noah's Ark cake for Maddie. Pretty and yummy!!

Maddie though that Blues-sax-playing Santa was really cool, so she kept turning him back on.

Grandma & Grandpa, and Uncle John and Aunt Janele and Katelyn and B. J. came up to visit after new years. I got this cool bike to ride. Daddy pushes me and we chase the dog and go really fast while Mommy covers her eyes! Whee!!

Here are couple of recent photos.

Madeline: You are just too cute and getting cuter by the photo! I love the purple snowsuit and hat and mittens outside in the snow. It was fun to share your birthday and your Christmas with you and Mommy and Daddy. Make a snowman for Grandma soon! We love you! Hugs from Iowa, Grandma and Grandpa R.

We always enjoy the beautiful family photos with Madeline being the "star figure." She is really growing up and thanks for sharing the priceless pictures. Enjoy! Luv, Jim and Carol

This is such a wonderful way to stay in touch. Thank you for your talents in sharing these beautiful photos and thoughts. All were classics; however, the photo with Grandpa Bergmann touched my heart. It brought back cherished memories with Dad and his love of "little ones."

Blessings,
Maurita and a few Iowa Snowflakes

Hi Eric and Lisa!

These photos are great. I remember all of the "firsts" with my first. It is so much fun and continues to be as they get older. I just have to say...you can't make a little biter this adorable and not have any more to go with her!!!! Get a move on you two!!!

Love you guys,
Jodi

Eric and Lisa---After 3 years, I finally got to your parents home to see the wedding video. I see, again, that we missed a beautiful day. Now, I see the photos of your beautiful little girlie. All is well at the Thomas household--it is cold and slippery here--now good for an old lady with a artificial hip--but I pick and choose my steps on this ice. Take care--Call when you come to Iowa--we'd love to see you. Bonnie Thomas

Happyvalentines day! I love you. Katelyn
