Happy new year, everyone. Our family had a great Christmas filled with family, feasting and relaxation. Madeline truly enjoyed the holiday season, learning to sing the Advent Candle song and spying for Christmas lights. She even built a snowman, but lamented to Lisa that "this one doesn't talk..."
Here are some of our favorite moments from the holidays:

Madeline enjoyed her dress coat, with matching purse and hat.

Oma and Opa gave her a drum for Christmas. She will most likely want to start playing with Daddy at church if we're not careful.

Isaac enjoys some time with Grandma.

Isaac got a Thomas the Train kit from Grandma and Grandpa. Madeline immediately staked her claim to it for the next two years...

Lisa's brother Jason and his wife Lindsay came down and took some nice photos of our family. Here are some of the best:

We hope that your Christmas was peaceful and rewarding, and wish you prosperity and goodwill in the coming year.

What delightful memories! Please note that it wasn't the Roling grandparents that gifted Maddie with the drum! (But look how she's enjoying it!) We so enjoyed our visit, even the 8 inches of snow. But most especially, just time with you four. It was very special to hear Madeline sing the Advent song and say her new Guardian Angel prayer. And what a privelege to give Isaac a bottle! Santa forgot to give Bailey a new sleeping mat, so don't get too upset when she pulls the tree skirt out from under the tree to nap on! (That was so precious!) Can't wait to see you all again! Very nice.... Love the idea of the blog site. Look forward to seeing you soon :)
Thanks for sharing some precious pictures! We had a wonderful Christmas. Kyler shared with Tim and I that this was his best Christmas! What a thought! Barb Tim Kyler and Grandma
