Well, it has been a busy summer for all of us. Madeline and Isaac have been making the most of the summer. Now that fall has set in, Lisa has a new job teaching theology at the Academy of Holy Angels and Maddie has started preschool at Highpointe. It has been a positive change all around, but we have learned to appreciate our time together now that it is a little more scarce. Here are some photos from our recent endeavors.

As a reward for getting rid of certain bad habits, Maddie got to go to the fair, which in this case was the Mall of America. She is pretty fearless as far as rides are concerned.

Now we're at the Anoka County Fair, outside the cow barn.

Taking a walk down the midway...

Our little princess.

In early August, we went back to Paradise Resort for a week up north in lake country. We were blessed with good weather, and Eric's parents came up for the latter part of the week to help out and enjoy some time away.

Isaac enjoys some time in the lake.

Happy Birthday, Isaac!!
Lisa just returned from a week in Germany, so we're catching up on things around here. We'll be back with more photos, plus video of Isaac taking his first steps!!

Dear Family in Minnesota: What beautiful photos of summer memories! We so enjoyed our days at Moose Lake. Maddie's interest in creating in the sand goes back 3 generations. Little Isaac is so cute getting his curls lopped. We can't wait to see him walk. Madeline, Grandma in Iowa has the BEST sidewalks and driveway for enjoying a bike! Come soon! Love & Hugs from Iowa, Grandma R.
Eric, Lisa, Madeline and Isaac,
What a beautiful Sunday surprise. Thank you!!! All are keepers. The little ones are growing up so fast, and you captured so many life's simple treasures with their personalities.
Lisa, your ministry is so important. With your theology studies and expertise, I am pleased that you found an opportunity to share your gifts.
Blessings and care,
Maurita
