It's the end of summer. That means birthdays, the annual trip to the State Fair, and kindergarten! Here are a few glimpses into our August.

Eric turned 38. That's a lot of candles.

On the City Bus on the way to the Great Minnesota Get Together.

I think this was Isaac's favorite part of the trip.

Madeline operates some heavy machinery

Farmer Lisa and Farmer Isaac.

Buckle up....

Sweeeeeeet....

Isaac kicks back.

Maddie's still working on that first chin-up.

Celebrating Lisa's birthday.

Madeline's first day of Kindergarten.

We'll be back soon with pictures from Isaac's 3rd birthday!

Good morning!
The pictures are great and capture well your August adventures. School days bring back memories of our backyard, black&white photos by the fireplace.
Thanks for posting,
Maurita
MN family: What lovely photos of several very special days! Eric, did you need help blowing out all those candles?! And Lisa, a lovely dinner out on the porch! And nothing adds joy more to a birthday celebration than children. The State Fair photos are delightful. Madeline and Isaac look very ready to get behind a wheel for real!! Only ten short years for Maddie to get that Learners Permit! Loved the first day of school photos. How fast they grow up. Madeline looked like a princess! Now where is the photo of her getting off the bus that afternoon???? Love & Hugs, Grandma Iowa
PS: What a lovely way to begin my birthday!
Wow!, Kindergarten! Madeline you will have lots of fun in kindergarten. Looks like fun at the fair. Thanks for sharing. Kyler started eight grade this year! Where did the time go? We went to Washington DC and had a really nice trip, the weather was awesome. We averaged walking 11 miles a day. We saw all the monuments and memorials as well as Arlington Cemetery. Take care, Barb,Tim and Kyler
