It has been a fun and exciting spring for us. The kids have been busy and active as the weather has turned nice. Here are some of our recent exploits.

For Memorial Day weekend, we took a quick trip down to Red Wing, MN to climb Barn Bluff. Here it is.

Madeline, Isaac and Bailey!! I'm so proud of you! All the way to the top of Barns Bluff!! No, no, no!! You do not go back and take the scary North Trail! It is CLOSED for good reason! I hope you had fun on your hike. Grandma Iowa had fun when she hiked it. And it is so scenic at the top, isn't it? Next, Longs Peak in Colorado up to the waterfall!
Maddie, you look so different in curly hair. And pretty, too. But I like the regular Madeline best. What were the tunes in your dance recital? The costumes were neat. I hope you will dance them for me the next time we see each other.
Isaac, there were a lot of eggs in your Easter Basket. I hope you save some goodies for me.
Bailey, we have a new rotweiler next door: Henry. He's 8 months old. I think he'd like to bark at you! Come to Iowa soon, all of you. Hugs, Grandma Iowa
