Another school year has started. Maddie begain first grade and Isaac is in preschool full time. Here are some memories from the last two months.
We made a quick trip to Wisconsin and did a quick leg on the Elroy-Sparta bike trail. Here we are at the end of the "mile tunnel."

Pretty much an annual tradition - a visit to the apple orchard for fresh Honeycrisp apples.
For Lisa's birthday, I got her a rain barrel made from a used wine barrel. She uses the recaptured water to use on her garden and flowers.

What happy autumn memories! Madeline, your first-day-of-school outfit was CUTE! And Isaac, great birthday cake photos. (I like the one with Grandma Iowa best!) We haven't been to the apple orchard. What say we trade you some honey crisps for some Iowa Chops? Is it a deal? The rain barrel looks even neater in the photos than the preview in the garage. That should be SO useful, Lisa.
