Madeline was 6 months old on May 25. To celebrate, we had a "half-a-birthday" party, complete with half a cake and half a candle. It was a lot of fun, and Maddie loved the attention.

Getting ready to blow out the half-a-candle.

Madeline is getting the hang of this "presents" thing.

We took Madeline on her first bike trip - to Dairy Queen. (None for Maddie- just Mom and Dad!)

She drools more than our dog does!!

Enjoying her Exersaucer.

"I've got them in the palm of my little hand!! Bwah hah hah!"

Peanut loves her baths. Relieved parents rejoice!

Her inquisitive side caught on film.
Good morning, Madeline! What a special surprise to see your pictures. It was wonderful to see you again and share in your half-a-birthday. You look so beautiful in your lavender dress -- my third little "purple princess"! Until we hold you again, may you continue to grow in grace and beauty, our Precious Little One! Hugs, Grandma R.

Posted by: lourdes on September 22, 2003 07:34 PMHello.
You won't know me, but I was just browsing the internet and saw this page on your daughter. She is incredibly cute.
My name is Charlotte and i'm 23. I live in Liverpool, UK, and I have a 5-month-old son called Jason. His father, my fiancee Sean, was unable to be at the birth as he plays professional rugby, so missed the birth as he was playing. It all happened so quickly, he only found out until after the game had finished. Anyway he made it to the hospital and was so over-whelmed - he couldn't believe he had become a father. I really can't say how much being a mother has changed my life, as I'm sure it has yours.
I wish you all the very best for the future.
