Well, we made it through the holidays in one piece. The kids had a great Christmas with lots of great presents to fight over. Madeline is reading and will be off to Kindergarten this fall. Isaac has just learned his ABCs. So the kids are doing great. If only the weather would warm up so they could spend more time outside!

Madeline shows off her (fake) earring and makeup.

Posing in front of the Christmas tree.

Isaac loves the train set he got from Aunt Maurita and Uncle Pat!

Madeline celebrates another wonderful Christmas gift.

Isaac got a great pirate ship from his cousins. Unfortunately he uses it to plunder Noah's ark!

Watching football with Dad. Note the hands behind the head - he's in relaxation mode.

Maddie's ready for Mardi Gras.

Charger wants his picture taken, too!

Madeline wanted a healthy snack. This was worth a picture.

Maddie and her friend Cassie had a sleep over. Here they are dressed as groundhogs since it was just Groundhogs Day.

Isaac wants in on the fun.

We built a K'nex roller coaster. Isaac watches as the coasters climb the hill.

And Maddie watches them go down!

Isaac playing with cars on his road made of blocks, just like his daddy used to.

Isaac has graduated to a big boy's bed. It has Thomas on it!!!

Taking it for a test drive.

Big sister takes a try.

Is it big enough for two? YES.
Well that's all for now. Come back soon!
Madeline & Isaac: It hasn't been two months since we've seen you and Madeline, you seem taller, and Isaac, you look so much older with your new haircut!. So special to see you playing with the blocks. How did you keep that bridge from falling? And a Ground Hog's day sleepover. Obviously Mr. Ground Hog saw his shadow. And last, but not least, Isaac sleeping in his Big Boy bed. I think Isaac needs a tall train crossing bank like cousin Blake. The one that clangs every time a coin is insterted. Just what Daddy needs on a Saturday morning. Thank you so much for sharing, Eric & Lisa. Hugs, Grandma Iowa

The Thomas The Train bed is so cute. I can't believe how Madeline and Isaac are growing up so fast. Enjoy!

Carol and Jim
Greetings from Des Moines. The pictures are wondrous -- so much joy, life and special moments. We are expected to get a new blanket of snow today . . . a true gift of Winter beauty.
Blessings,
Maurita
