Turning around with a quick entry. Just got back from a short vacation to the Wisconsin Dells. Here are some May highlights.

Maddie and her daily fashion photos...

Isaac's turn.

Do not adjust your set...

It was Crazy Hair Day at preschool, and Maddie went all-out. Don't worry, it all washed out!!

Isaac and Bailey get some quality time on the front porch.

Isaac takes a quick nap in the car.

At the Dells, we take the courtesy bus to the water park. When asked what their favorite ride was at the Dells, the response was... "the bus!"

Lisa and Isaac enjoy the water.

Maddie rides the purple slide and Isaac checks out the commotion.

Maddie and Cassie at the petting zoo. After this we took an hour long horse ride on a trail through the woods. Maddie and Eric rode on a great horse named "Sugar Foot".

Isaac sure enjoyed hanging with "the girls".

Isaac hangs out at the hotel room.

Isaac cuddles with Dad to warm up after a big day swimming.

Back home, Maddie wants one more picture before calling it a night.
Thanks for all your comments. We'll be back soon!
Minnesota family! What a great way to spend a rainy, dreary weekend. You guys are all smiles! Good choice on the PURPLE slide, Madeline! I enjoy all your poses, too. Glad Dad is taking photos of them. Isaac, you look great in the water! And you are still enjoying your carpet map, too. Bailey looks so content out in the sunshine. Glad you all had so much fun. Posted by: barb soukup on May 26, 2008 07:36 AMThanks for sending this update, Eric and Lisa. It warms my heart to see such wonderous childhood joys and smiles.
Also, I called BJ to tell him that his favorite animal, an elephant, has been featured on the evening news this week. Rosie, the mother, and "JP", the baby, are capturing many hearts. They lift their feet to say "hello" or "good bye", and roll their trunks in unison. BJ informs me that they do this with verbal cuing!
